Shou Mei Tea

Broad-Leaf Shou Mei
Rich and Mellow

Shou Mei Tea is named for its appearance, which resembles the eyebrows of a venerable elder. It is generally made from later flushes of Fuding Dahao tea trees, including the second and third spring shoots, or from tender leaves left over after harvesting Silver Needle (Yin Zhen) buds and performing “bud plucking.”

The production process is similar to that of White Peony Tea, but the leaves are larger and more mature. The finished tea is full-bodied and rich, with higher levels of natural compounds. Its mellow and robust flavor, combined with an affordable price, makes Shou Mei an excellent choice for daily enjoyment.
