Ao Fu Hou
Soft as Silk
Refreshing and Smooth
Ao Fu Hou is a rare variety of Fenghuang Dancong (Phoenix Oolong) tea, renowned for its unique growing environment and production techniques. The mother trees of this tea grow in a valley in Danhu Village, Phoenix Town, Chaozhou, at an altitude of over 700 meters, which is reflected in its name, "Ao Fu Hou," a phonetic play.
The dry tea leaves exude a fresh sweetness reminiscent of sugarcane, creating an uplifting aroma. The leaves are tightly rolled and have a rich reddish-brown sheen. The brewed tea displays a clear, bright yellow color, with a lingering floral aroma akin to orchids and a subtle hint of creamy sweetness. The tea liquor is soft as silk, offering a refreshing and smooth taste that is delightfully fragrant and enjoyable.
