Yu Lan Xiang (Magnolia Aroma) is a precious variety of Fenghuang Dancong (Phoenix Oolong) tea, belonging to the Camellia family and classified as a medium-leaf, asexual shrub. It is one of the treasured honey aroma types of Fenghuang Dancong, originally sourced from the Phoenix tea region in Chao’an District, Chaozhou, where the mother tree has over 200 years of history.
The dried tea leaves are long and tightly rolled, displaying a gray-brown, glossy appearance with an elevated aromatic profile. When brewed, the tea reveals a distinct magnolia floral aroma that is both subtle and rich. The taste is robust and refreshing, with a clear and bright liquor color. This tea can be steeped multiple times—up to a dozen infusions—while retaining its enchanting fragrance and flavor.
