丹桂
Dan Gui (Red Osmanthus Aroma)
Osmanthus Entwined
Smoky Sweetness
Dan Gui is a distinctive cultivar of Wuyi Rock Tea, selectively bred by the Tea Research Institute of Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences from the natural offspring of Rou Gui (Cinnamon Aroma) tea trees. Its maternal parent is the direct descendant of Wuyi Rock Tea’s “Rou Gui,” while the paternal parent remains unknown. This tea combines the spicy cinnamon aroma of Rou Gui with the sweet floral fragrance of osmanthus. The cultivar code is 304.

The dry leaves present a harmonious mix of cinnamon and floral fragrance. When brewed, the tea exhibits smoky notes, medicinal aroma, longan fragrance, and subtle creamy undertones. The finish is sweet, with a lingering caramel-like richness.
